Vibration Test Bench - SySIFe - Rail Infrastructure Solicitation System
The vibration bench allows to study the dynamic behavior of structures. It consists of a platform of 9m x 4m decoupled from the building, on which can be anchored the jacks and the assemblies intended for the tests as well as a horizontal table. 4 electro-hydraulic servo jacks, controlled from a digital console, allow the execution of very diversified dynamic tests for research and industry.
The platform is composed of a whole range of equipment: Hydraulic press, horizontal table, 2 seismic massifs (a slab of 9m x 4m, and a second of 15m x 6m dedicated to railway tests). It is moreover composed by the means of test named SySIFe (System of solicitation of railway infrastructures).
It is designed to test all types of track structures: ballast, concrete, asphalt, as well as transitions between structures. The innovative aspect lies in the cyclic solicitation system which allows to simulate the continuous displacement at high speed of the load on the rail.

The platform in detail
The equipment of the vibration bench allows a wide range of mechanical and vibratory tests. For research, a press, a vibrating table and jacks can be used to test samples, sensors or algorithms. The SySIFe equipment allows to mechanically stress a full-scale railway platform for fatigue and structural analysis tests.
