Platform for Battery Characterisation and Aging Tests
This test platform allows the study of the electrical characteristics of battery cells and the phenomena leading to the degradation of these characteristics. The platform is made up of cycling benches that allow to impose a charge and/or discharge profile on the batteries, thermal chambers to control the temperature of the tests and characterisation measurement and acquisition equipment (impedance spectrometer, thermal camera, etc.). The equipment is adapted to batteries with a voltage of less than 60 V that can deliver a current of up to 250 A (charge or discharge). Target applications include transportation, microgrids and vehicle-to-network (V2G) interactions.
