Detailed view
Sense-City
Sense-City is a scale-1 experimental space under representative, controllable physical conditions, dedicated to the study of highly innovative urban micro-districts. A genuine laboratory in the open air or under controlled conditions, this space incorporates a mobile climatic chamber that can cover two 400 m² zones, "mini-towns" where it is possible to experiment, develop and objectify performance, and improve the maturity and robustness of development solutions and prototypes for the cities of the future, using dedicated and adapted instrumentation, thus prefiguring and facilitating integration under real conditions.
Examples of solutions: measurement and monitoring of air, water and soil quality; urban cooling, pollution control and water recovery; dynamic weighing of vehicles, improved road markings; detection of buried objects; local energy production from renewable energies (geothermal, solar, wind) in urban environments, associated multi-energy smart grids capable of integrating various local consumer systems (innovative recharging solutions for electric vehicles. ); energy micro-recovery (IOT applications, etc.); solutions to improve the robustness of perception systems for future automated vehicles.
The climatic chamber can be used to program a wide range of applications.
